What medications should I be aware of before getting tattooed?
Some medications can affect bleeding, healing, or sensitivity:
Blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, anticoagulants) can increase bleeding.
Pain medications or opioids can alter how you feel pain.
Antibiotics can make your skin more sensitive — wait until you finish your course.
Allergy meds might cause drowsiness or dizziness.
Immunosuppressants can slow healing and increase infection risk.
Always talk to your doctor before stopping or changing medication.
Please let me know what you’re taking — it helps me keep your session safe and comfortable.
